Construction/Project manager

You will be the first point of contact when colleagues from the technical office, production or installation. You will be responsible for the project engineering of metal construction objects with regard to costs, technology and quality.

Your tasks – what you will do

As a project manager, you will be responsible for the management, organisation and execution of various metal construction projects. In doing so, you will always have an eye on the quality and cost specifications of the respective project. You will control the technical processing from the creation of the bills of quantities for production all the way to installation. Clients, architects and co-workers from the technical office as well as from the areas of production and installation will report to you.

Your salary – what you will earn

Your salary will be negotiated individually for each position. How much you will earn primarily depends on how long you have already been working and what other experience you are bringing with you to the company hiring you. Your pay will depend on the respective pay group for the metalworking trade. As a construction/project manager you can earn between EUR 2,174.69 and 4,757.13 (pay groups 1 to 11). Your future – what your opportunities are

As a construction/project manager you can obtain further training at any time, and you should. At the Technical Inspection Association you can complete a course of training in the area of construction management and then become a certified construction manager, for example. You can thereby repeatedly freshen up, expand and deepen your knowledge.

Your entry point – openings and more

You can become a construction/project manager after completing your studies to become a civil engineer or technician. Knowledge in the areas of building physics, statics and design engineering as well as multiple years of experience in project management and design engineering.
